About Me

Never give up, no matter what's happens.

In memory of my dear grandmother, I promised myself never to give up, no matter what will come.

it's meCreativity was overall a very important part of my life. Born in Germany in the sixties into a working-class family, being the oldest daughter wasn’t an easy life, looking after my brother and sister, making the daily housework, cooking, gardening, homework, feeding the pets etc. It was often too much and so I escaped into my own world. As a little child, I was drawing princesses on every paper, which I could find. My mother wasn’t very pleased about this. But she understood my fantasies and gave me spare wool and needles. And so I learned my first crochet at the age of five from my grandmother. My great-grandfather brought me to a friend, who was an artist. The artist taught me many ways in painting and drawing and seeing the world in colours. Over the years, as a child and teenager I was involved in many different kinds of craft, which helped me to stay strong in a difficult and often violent life.

My studied occupation was creative cutting of lead crystal glass. It was fascinating to form the plain glass into a masterpiece. Over the years I never gave up my creativity, and tried many techniques and materials to express myself. I was making clay pottery, was crocheting, knitting, did calligraphy, stencilling, playing the guitar, restored furniture, was sewing costumes for carnivals, did macramé, beading etc. A big part to express myself was in painting and drawing, experimenting with different techniques and materials, such us canvas, silk or paper.

My special love is nature, the flora and fauna, which is a mirror picture of my creative art. I was very interested in beading in my youth and explored different techniques. Now after nearly thirty years, I found this love of beads, pearls and wire again. I am happy to present my passion. I know that I will be busy for a long time because my imagination is unrestricted. Beading is calming, passionate, without borders, and most of all it is fun, joy and peace.
